The University of Sioux Falls jumped out in front early and had a 10 points lead over the University of Minnesota Crookston Men’s Basketball team. The Golden Eagles had too many turnovers and couldn’t mount a comeback to catch the Cougars. UMC did pull within four points with about 13 and a half minutes left in the game, but Sioux Falls finished the rest of the way outscoring UMC 32 to 10 and ending up with a 73-47 win in a Northern Sun Conference game played in Sioux Falls. The Golden Eagles, who had a two-game winning streak stopped, was led by Leonard Dixon (Jr-Damascus, Oregon) who had 13 points. The Golden Eagles are now 6-13 on the season and 3-10 in the Northern Sun Conference. The University of Sioux Falls is now 10-7 on the year and 6-5 in the conference. UMC will be back home on Friday to play Wayne State (Neb.) in a conference match-up at 7:30 PM.
