UMC Named A Best School in Midwest

The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) has again been named one of the best colleges in the Midwest according to The Princeton Review, a nationally known education services company.  UMC is one of 160 institutions The Princeton Review recommends in its “Best Midwestern” section of its website feature, “2019 Best Regional Colleges,” that posted August 7, 2018, on www.PrincetonReview.com.
Each year The Princeton Review names colleges and universities in five zones—Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West, and International—it considers “academically outstanding and well worth consideration” for prospective students’ college searches.
The 160 colleges that The Princeton Review chose for its “2019 Best Midwestern” list are located in twelve states: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
The Princeton Review also designated 225 colleges in the Northeast, 129 in the West, and 143 in the Southeast, and four International, as best in their locales on the company’s 2019 Best Regional Colleges lists. Collectively, these colleges and universities constitute roughly 25% of the nation’s 2,500 four-year colleges.
