UMC PROFESSOR VENOGOPAL MUKKU RECEIVES AWARD FOR GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT

Associate Professor Venugopal Mukku has received the 2019 Award for Global Engagement (AGE) for his work on internationalization and global awareness at the University of Minnesota Crookston. The award is given to those faculty and staff whose achievements and contributions to global education, research and engagement are exceptional. This honor recognizes Mukku’s many years of outstanding international contributions.

The Global Programs and Strategy Alliance established, and continues to sponsor this award as part of our effort to make internationalization a key academic priority at the University. Your accomplishments and talents contribute to our status as a world-class institution, and they serve as a model to faculty and staff.  

The Global Programs and Strategy Alliance is planning a ceremony his honor and the other AGE recipients on the Twin Cities campus during International Education Week on November 21, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
