Over 50 students in grades Pre-K to seniors in high school are involved this week in robotics camps at the University of Minnesota Crookston. The camps, sponsored by the Math, Science, and Technology Department, began on Tuesday and run through the end of the week.
Opportunities include exploring Lego WeDo robots for younger students and experiencing robotics EV3, making a water robot and a solar oven for students in fourth through eighth grade. Older students will be building a Sea Perch water robot, examining water creatures, and collecting and testing water samples.
