UMC Soccer Shutout By MSU-Moorhead

The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) women’s soccer team failed to score for the ninth-straight match in a 1-0 season finale loss to MSU-Moorhead in an NSIC match played at the Nemzek Soccer Field in Moorhead.
Minnesota Crookston was outshot 12-4 in the first half, but goalkeeper Athena DiMario Done (Soph., Windsor, Ontario) made seven saves to preserve a 0-0 first half. Just 1:35 into the second half Kylee Billings (Sr., Monroe, WA) scored the game-winning goal for the Dragons with an assist from Hannah Loos (Sr., Harrisburg, SD) securing the MSU-Moorhead 1-0 victory.
The Golden Eagles end their season 1-15-2 overall and 1-12-2 in NSIC play. MSU-Moorhead wraps up their season to 4-13 overall and 4-11 in conference play.
