The summer 2020 classes include Advanced Topics in Literature Epidemics in Literature History, Special Topics in Health Services Management – Medical Supply Chain Management in the Face of COVID-19, Special Topics in Environmental Science – Living with COVID-19 and Environmental Hazards in a Changing World. The new courses are timely and relevant to the current global situation. This expanded set of courses will provide additional opportunities to make progress toward student’s degrees, regardless of where they may be located during the summer.

“A significant and thoughtful effort has been made by the University of Minnesota System campuses to ensure we are creating community and meaningful opportunities for students through this robust listing of courses. The compilation of expertise in varying subjects, crafted to focus in and capitalize on natural curiosities related to the COVID-19 pandemic, during this highly unprecedented time in our history, is remarkable.  We are proud to partake in this,” commented Mary Holz-Clause, UMC Chancellor.

The intention is to make the most of this summer for the entire University community and to lean into the ability to provide information, skills, and context, even in the most unusual of times.
