The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) women’s golf team finished seventh at the Tracy Lane Memorial at the Bemidji Town and Country Club in Bemidji. The Golden Eagles shot team scores of 402 and 407 over the two rounds of the tournament, 159 strokes behind Concordia-St. Paul’s 650 team score. St. Cloud State was in second place, 39 strokes behind Concordia-St. Paul.
UMC only had four players make the trip and were led by Allison Bot (Jr., Minneota) and McKenzie Harris (Sr., Nevis) who shot two-round totals of 199 for a tie for 35th place. Camryn Larson (Fr., Fertile) shot a 203, while Anna Olson (So., Fertile) carded a 208.
Sophie Hill of Concordia-St. Paul won the individual title with scores of 79 and 78.
UMC will play at the Concordia-St. Paul Fall Classic in Stillwater on September 16 and 17.
