Ox Cart Days 2024 wrapped up on Sunday, and we have winners from a few of the events on Saturday.
TORCHLIGHT PARADE
The Ox Cart Days Torchlight Parade was another outstanding parade with so many great entries, but the Crookston Lions Club judges had the difficult job of picking the top three.
The winners are below –
1st Place – United Valley Bank
2nd Place – Cathedral School
3rd Place – Benedictine Living Community
HAPPY JOE’S PIZZA EATING CONTEST
Crookston High School’s Riley Helgeson (football player and wrestler) won the Happy Joe’s Pizza eating contest. (He was seen later cooking up hot dogs and distributing them while on the Crookston Pirate Football team float in the parade).
