For years, Benedictine Living Community-Crookston has witnessed the generosity of the Crookston community supporting United Way. This past year a granted gift was used to purchase a new 75 pound capacity dryer for the Laundry.
Marcie Haugen, Laundry Supervisor, stated, “Thank you, United Way, and all who contribute! The dryer you helped purchase has turned out over 122,000 pounds of laundry for our Benedictine Family, including our Summit Assist Living, in the past 11 months. We anticipate many years of trusted service from our new dryer, and you helped make it possible. Thank you for helping us see our Mission through.”
“We want to call out how United Way of Crookston has gifted us time and again with impactful equipment and programming including the animated pets that our Memory Care residents hold and love, blanket warmers, wheelchair scales, the low vision reading machine, the 360 Clorox Sanitizing Machine, the Benedictine Buggy, wheel chairs, cushions and state of the art vital measuring machines, plus much more.” Claimed Executive Director Lindsey Erdman, adding, “Thanks to the many businesses and people who give so generously to United Way of Crookston, because you make a difference for us and so many in town!”
