On Thursday, February 10, 2022, at approximately 12:15 pm a body, now subsequently identified as that of Anthony Valdez who had been missing since February 6, was discovered deceased in the alley of the 10th block of North 3rd Street in Grand Forks. The circumstances behind the death of Mr. Valdez are under active investigation. There were no obvious signs of trauma to Mr. Valdez; however, the investigation is ongoing, and a cause of death has not yet been determined.
