Last night at approximately 11:00 pm, a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Gebrekrstos Embaye of East Grand Forks drove through the south wall of Thrifty White Pharmacy. Initial investigation of the crash indicates Embaye lost control of his vehicle while traveling north on S. Columbia Rd., leaving the roadway and striking the building. The vehicle came to a stop partially inside the business. There was significant damage to the foundation and interior of the building. Embaye was not injured during the crash.
Embaye was cited for Care Required.
