On Wednesday, March 13 at 1:21 p.m. the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car fire at the intersection of CR 11 and CR 13. Upon arrival the sole occupant and driver, Amanda Lynn Goldsborough age 30 from Erskine, MN escaped without injuries. It appears the vehicle overheated which caused the fire. The Crookston Fire Department extinguished the fire while the Crookston Area Ambulance treated and released the driver on scene. No citations were issued, and no charges are pending at this time.
