The Villa St. Vincent/The SUMMIT in Crookston thanks Crookston and area citizens for helping out since the pandemic and they offer various ways to get involved to “help” out. The letter is below –
As we continue our efforts to protect the health, well-being and safety of our residents, tenants and staff at Villa St. Vincent/The SUMMIT, we extend our sincere thankfulness and appreciation to the local community for your concern and support.
Our residents and tenants have received cards, letters, drawings, remote visits via Facetime, Skype, etc., phone calls, window visits, individually wrapped sweet treats and more. Overall, they have been understanding and tolerant with the restrictions that we have implemented as recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, The Center for Medicare and Medicaid, and The MN Department of Health.
Generous community members and loved ones of our residents and tenants have kindly donated, to our staff, a variety of items (Crookston RMA bucks, individually wrapped candy, breakfast treats, cookies, face masks) and more.
Villa St. Vincent/The SUMMIT values our employees. They work tirelessly to maintain the highest quality of care and service to ensure the emotional, physical and spiritual wellness of our residents and tenants during this unprecedented time.
“The health and well-being of our residents and staff remain our top priority. We are grateful for the support and donations from the local community as well as for the tremendous dedication and care shown daily by all of our associates,” stated Judy Hulst, executive director.
