WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FINALLY HAS END OF YEAR PICNIC AFTER TWO YEARS

After a two-year pause, Washington School’s PTO resumed hosting a Picnic for ECFE, School Readiness, and Kindergarten families. The absence of the annual picnic, along with a sunny spring evening, drew a crowd of over 200 people to the school’s playground, where Washington teachers and staff helped serve food. Crookston High School Leo Club members and a few PTO parents coordinated activities of face painting, soccer, and Tug-of-War while families could also enjoy the sandbox, sidewalk chalk, or “painting the school.”

PTO parents generously donated items for the Picnic and Raffle. Proceeds raised will support classroom field trips and educational supplies and materials.

Mrs. Oliver, Washington School Principal, appreciated getting together as a Washington School Family to celebrate a great year.
