Washington School in Crookston is inviting the community to join their students and show kindness during the month of February. The students at Washington will be collecting money from February 1-14 for the United Way of Crookston.
Across the nation, United Way advances the common good in communities. The focus of the fundraising efforts is on financial stability & basic needs, health & well-being, and education, which are the building blocks for a good quality of life.
The community is asked to bring their pennies, dimes, nickels, and quarters to Washington School beginning on February 1, to help “feed the bear” and raise money for the United Way of Crookston to help support the agencies that benefit from the United Way.
