Wayne Allen Jagol – OBIT

Wayne Allen Jagol passed away on April 26, 2025, at his residence in Fertile, Minnesota, with his beloved significant other, Melody and his family, at his side. He was 73 years old.

Graveside service will be 2:30 PM Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Fertile, MN. Fellowship and Lunch will follow at Concordia Lutheran Church, Fertile, MN.

Wayne was born on December 27, 1951, in Crookston, Minnesota, to Peter and Madeline (Solie) Jagol. From a young age, he shared a close bond with his sisters and extended that warmth to his nieces, nephews, family members, and neighbors.
A self-taught man of many talents, Wayne built a successful career as a self-employed heating and plumbing professional. His strong work ethic began early; he had been working out since the age of 13 and approached every challenge with determination and independence. Wayne was known for his unmistakable laugh and good sense of humor. Though sometimes cantankerous, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. A friend to many, Wayne enjoyed attending auction sales and cherished the simple pleasure of visiting with others over coffee at Northside.
For the past 24 years, Wayne made his home with Melody, Jamie her son and grandson Liam, in Fertile. His life was rich with connections—he deeply impacted those around him through friendship and genuine camaraderie.

Wayne is survived by his significant other, Melody; sisters Marsha (Wayne) Christianson, Karen (Allen) Larson, Lori (Ron) Sannes and foster brother, Sky Kava, St Cloud, MN; as well as several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Peter and Madeline Jagol, maternal and paternal grandparents, nephew and godson Seth Larson.

Wayne’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his laughter and spirit continue to bring comfort to those he touched.
