WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS BUSINESS GRANTS FROM CARES ACT FUNDS

The Crookston Ways & Means Committee will meet Monday following the City Council meeting. The committee will discuss providing grants to Crookston businesses using the City’s CARES Act funds, changes to the City’s COVID-19 preparedness plan, and a plan for tours of the community for city administrator candidates.

The committee will also continue a tabled discussion on a Red Lake River Corridor matching grant request for $4,084 and have a discussion on the costs of purchasing a new garbage truck with an articulating arm to serve garbage carts rather than the current bag system, and what they’d charge for fees to advance garbage collection.
