At approximately 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 6 the Crookston Police Department responded to the corner of University Ave and West 6th Street on a report of a single-vehicle crash. A 1994 Toyota Camry was southbound on University Ave when it left the roadway crashing into the rock garden. The driver; Rhonda Kay Wilkens, 50, of Grand Forks, ND was not injured. She was arrested for DWI and transported to the NWRCC. The Crookston Ambulance and Crookston Fire Department assisted in the incident.
