WOMAN ARRESTED IN GRAND FORKS AFTER MAN STABBED IN CHEST WITH A KNIFE

On Saturday, February 1 at 12:40 a.m., Officers with the Grand Forks Police Department were dispatched to the 2000 Block of Dyke Ave. for a report of a male subject who had been stabbed in the chest with a knife. The victim was transported to Altru Hospital. The suspect was known to the victim.

Officers located the suspect Christine Lynn Jones (DOB 05/01/1988) at the 100-block of Cottonwood St. Jones was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault.

Members of the Grand Forks Police Department Criminal Investigation Bureau responded to this incident.  

The extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown at this time.
