Zach R. Pederson – Obit

Zach R. Pederson, 38, Fertile, MN, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at his residence in Fertile surrounded by family and friends who loved him.

Zach Robert Pederson was born on September 23, 1983, in Uinta, WY. He then lived in TX for a brief time before moving to MN and settling in Mayville, ND with his family. When Zach was old enough, he moved to Fargo, ND. He had many jobs from doing concrete to building and painting headers.

Zach met Kisha when he was 22 years old at the Silver Dollar in West Fargo, ND. One year later he and Kisha moved to Fertile, to put down roots. Zach got a job working at the Sandhill Café as a cook for Mark Berhow. When it became Erickson’s Smokehouse Zach worked for Mark Erickson for a few more years before he decided to be a stay-at-home husband to take care of his and Kisha’s home.

Zach enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He collected knives and swords and loved watching the movies Battleship and John Wick. He also loved his two fur babies; Callie and Riddles, they were just like his kids.

Zach is survived by his wife, Kisha, Fertile, MN; brother, Robbie Stebe, West Fargo, ND; sister, Ashley Stebe, Mayville, ND; step-father, Allan Stebe, Mayville, ND; and his nieces and nephews.
