The Crookston Blue Line Club and KROX Radio teamed up to hold a 10,000 puck challenge for Crookston youth hockey players. 64 kids registered for the challenge of shooting at least 10,000 pucks over the summer months. Out of 64 people who registered, 14 completed the challenge. The 14 that completed the challenge were Zachary Tahran, Dexter Janek, Garrett Fischer, Kadin Edwards, Tate Hamre, Gavin Aakhus, Reese Swanson, Brekken Tull, Connor Maruska, Grant Funk, Davin Janek, Brandon Colborn, Rilynn Aubol and Lauren Tull.
The 14 kids that completed the challenge received a t-shirt and were put into a drawing for $125 towards a new hockey stick. Kadin Edwards and Brekken Tull were the names drawn.
