The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:
Amanda Lee Gamble, 45 of Moorhead, for felony 3rd-degree sale of narcotics.
Elizabeth Ashley Heim, 29 of Fertile, for felony 3rd-degree possession of methamphetamine in a school, park, or public housing zone.
Abdikarim Mohamed Farah, 19, for misdemeanor domestic assault.
Katherine Maria Daniels, 42 of Crookston, for misdemeanor contempt of court for constructive disobedience of a lawful judgment, order, or process of the court. Released on personal recognizance.
Saul Salinas, 43 of Crookston, for misdemeanor domestic assault.
The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls on 11/28/2020
At 11:50 a.m., they were called to the 1300 block of North Front Street to investigate a concern of natural gas or propane leak. Upon investigation with gas detecting tools, they could not find any leaks or danger and cleared the scene.
At 12:17 p.m., they were called to the 500 block of Walsh Street for a smell of gas in the kitchen. They investigated with gas detecting tools and found no initial leaks. The firefighters stayed on stand-by and found no leaks or danger was present and turned over the situation to staff and cleared the scene.
At 5:35 p.m., they were called to the Highway 75 bypass for a detector activation. Upon investigation, it was found that it was a system malfunction. The system was reset and they cleared the scene.
