CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL HOLDS TALENT SHOW

The Crookston High School held their 6th annual talent show Friday afternoon. There were nine acts: Blaine Asman played and sang “Piano Man” by Billy Joel, Hanna Dorton sang “DNA” by Lia Marie Johnson, Alexia Threatt played “Embraceable You” on the clarinet, Cassidy Baatz played “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri on the piano, Mr. Black’s Ensemble played Christmas Medley, Isabelle Smith played a melody of “Hall of Fame – It’s Time/A Thousand Years” on piano, Frankie Torvinen sang “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars, David Threatt played “The Christmas Horn” on the French horn, and Jessica Willits sang “A Friend Like Me” by Aladdin. Gayle Moen provided final entertainment on the grand piano.
The top three performances were: 1st place – Jessica Willits, 2nd place – Blaine Asman, and 3rd place – Isabelle Smith.
Linda Morgan and Matt Torgerson organized the talent show. Victoria Proulx served as the MC, Jada Dillabough and Madison Broden did programs, Shaun Nelson was backstage crew, and Matt Torgerson ran the sound system. The judges were Gary Stegman, Haley Ellis and Sue Wagner with Wayne Folkers as tabulator.
