CROOKSTON SCHOOL BOARD WILL MEET MONDAY

The Crookston School Board will meet Monday, April 26 at 5 p.m. in the choir/orchestra room at Crookston High School. The meeting will be followed by a long-range planning committee meeting held in the district conference room immediately following the School Board meeting.

The consent agenda includes approving past meeting minutes from March 22 and April; approving current bills; and accepting donations from the Crookston Baseball Association for $3,000 to pay for assistant coaches, and from Titan Machinery for $500 for the Ag program. The following personnel items are also included on the consent agenda: approving employment with Nicole Martinez as High School Principal; accepting the resignation of Tim Moe as Head Girls Hockey Coach; accepting the resignation of Tayler Christenson as Assistant Volleyball Coach; accepting the resignation of Marlys Plencner as an aide at Washington Elementary School (WES); accepting the resignation of Sandy Seregin as a paraprofessional at Highland Elementary School (HES).

The main agenda will consist of discussing and approving the Long-Term Facilities Maintenance (LTFM) plan including tennis fence repair, tennis court resurfacing, fuel tank removal, CHS parking lot seal coating, and EFIS (exterior insulation finishing system) repair at CHS.

The board will review administrative reports from CHS Principal Eric Bubna, HES Principal Chris Trostad, and WES Principal Denice Oliver. They will also receive a report from Superintendent Jeremy Olson.
