Express Employment Professionals, who have operated an office in Crookston during sugar beet season for more than 15 years, have transitioned their Crookston office to a year-round operation. They will hold a Grand Opening on Wednesday said William Zimniak, a staffing consultant. “We’ll have our Grand Opening Wednesday, January 30th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.,” said Zimniak. “We’ll have some sort of a treat, cake or cookie, and coffee. It will just be sort of a meet and greet and hopefully get some new associates and clients as we get our name out there.”
Express works to match clients and associates by trying to match skills what the job requires. “It takes the right person to work any position,” said Zimniak. “You want to make sure their skills match with what the position requires. A lot of it is also attitude and how they get along with other people. We’re a source to help get people on the workforce.”
Zimniak said anyone looking for a job is welcome to walk in. “Anybody looking for a job can come in and meet with us,” said Zimniak. “It’s possible you have the skills to meet into a position we have open or something we’ll have in the future. We have more positions in Grand Forks through our office there as well.”
Express Employment Professionals operates over 700 offices in the United States, Canada, and South Africa partnering with businesses to hire staff and try to take some of the load off the Human Resources Department.
