The Crookston Eagles Club held its first-ever Mr. GQ Pageant in the Crookston Eagles on Friday night to see which one of seven “gentlemen” earned the right to wear the first-ever Mr. GQ crown. The event was sponsored by Montagues’ Flower Shop, the Crookston Inn, Hair Connexion, Brandner Printing & Office Supplies, Melbye Trophies, B & B Kreations, Kiel Farms, and the Crookston Eagles and Auxiliary.
Jenny Perreault was awarded Mr. GQ 2022. Perreault won the talent and on-stage question competitions and won the People’s Choice Award and received a grill from Scott’s Hardware, a trophy of a golden wrench, a bouquet from Montagues’ Flower Shop, the Mr. GQ 2022 sash and crown, and a fanny pack. Jessica Osborn was the runner-up and evening wear competition winner and received a bouquet from Montagues, a fanny pack, and a $100 gift certificate to the Crookston Eagles Club. The other contestants were Amber Mix, Amanda Hoiland, Serenity Thompson, Arlie Rudnik, and April Zammert.
