Highland Elementary School took part in the Safe Routes To School (SRTS) event Winter Walk to School Day on Thursday morning. (SRTS) promotes students walking, biking, roller-blading, and skateboarding to school to promote physical activity while conducting students’ travel in the safest manner possible.
Each Highland Elementary School student was given free hot chocolate beverages, bracelets, and other trinkets.
