PIRATE BOYS GOLF FINISHES 10TH PLACE AT BEMIDJI INVITE

The Crookston Pirate Boys golf team finished 10th out of 13 teams at the Bemidji Invitational at Bemidji Town and Country Club. Crookston shot a 367, while the Bemidji Lumberjacks shot a 306, nine strokes better than East Grand Forks.
The Pirates had all six golfers below 100 for the first time in an 18-hole round this spring.

GARRETT FISCHER – The sophomore shot an 83, good for 27th place. He had one eagle and a season-high five birdies,  and four bogies. He had a couple of holes that hurt him, but he still turned in a solid round.

BRANNON TANGQUIST – The Senior shot a 90, good for 52nd place. He had two birdies and four pars. He also turned in five bogies in the round.

DAVID DAUKSAVAGE – The sophomore shot a 97. He continues to shave strokes off his score and turned in four pars and five bogies for his best scores in the round.

ASHTON SHOCKMAN – The senior shot a 97. He had one birdie, two pars, and six bogies for his best scores.

EVAN SHOCKMAN – The sophomore shot a 99. He had three pars and seven bogies for his best scores.

TATE HAMRE – The sophomore shot a 99. He had five pars and five bogies for his best scores.
