Swing your clubs for a good cause on Monday, June 10, at the RiverView Foundation’s 19th Annual Golf Classic.
Priority, patient-focused initiatives have resulted from the almost $430,000 raised at the annual event over the years. Funds generated this year will be used for-
- Automated medication equipment for the Surgical Services Department. The equipment will allow for the secure storage of frequently used medication closer to patients for administration any time of day or night, including hours the RiverView Pharmacy is closed.
- Funding several children’s funds to purchase comfort bears, books, therapy equipment, Halo SleepSacks for babies born at RiverView, and more.
“The Golf Classic has made a significant impact for RiverView and improved the level of care we provide,” stated Foundation Director Randy Schoenborn. “Our patients will continue to receive the personal care they have grown to trust and appreciate in the comfortable, home-like environment they deserve thanks to the generosity of these sponsors and participants.”
Several sponsorship levels are available if you or your business would like to participate.
The Classic, held at Minakwa Golf Course, Crookston, will begin at 10 am with registration. Teams of four will tee off with an 11 am shotgun start. Enjoy games, a grab-and-go lunch, and a dinner/social after the event. Stay for awards and prize drawings.
