The Grand Theatre, a staple in Crookston since 1910, will offer free family movie day and video games on Wednesdays throughout the summer.
The movie is usually a surprise to those attending, with a hint posted on Facebook. “We’ve been doing it for a couple of summers now. We do a free family movie on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. all summer long, we will be offering that. We also do video games, usually a Nintendo Switch inside, too,” says The Grand Theatre’s manager, Bo Brorby.
Brorby also mentioned a few other deals and events in which the theatre may participate. “For Crazy Days, we will probably have a family movie deal going on, and then for Ox Cart Days, we’ve got our dollar matinee movies on Thursday and Friday. Then we sponsor the teen dance on the Friday night of Ox Cart Days.”
