The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following

Amber Lynn Swenson-Hill, 36, of Crookston, for DUI

Sarah Nicole Liden, 30, of Fertile, for Terroristic Threats

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 2/11/25:

At 8:00 a.m., CFD responded to a reported burnt plastic smell at the 200 block of Johnson Place. Crews found an issue with the furnace. The furnace was turned off, and the homeowner was instructed to call maintenance personnel.

At 8:15 a.m., CFD responded to the Villa in Crookston for a lift assist. Crews helped EMS lift a person who fell down. EMS then transported the patient to the hospital.
