The Crookston 5th Grade Girls Basketball team went 3-1 on the day and finished second place at the Sacred heart Basketball tournament this weekend.
In the first game, Crookston beat Stephen-Argyle Storm 38-8.
In round two, Crookston beat Red Lake Falls 28-6.
In the third round, Crookston beat Sacred Heart Gold 24-17.
In the fourth round, Crookston lost to Sacred Heart Purple 24-12.
Crookston is now 9-3 on the year. Karissa Beckman and Sarah Klawitter coach the team. Memmbers of the team are Lily Griffin, Kaitlynn Klawitter, Emma Newquist, Valor Klennert, Marie Prudhomme, Keira Gudmundson, Annie Kollin, and Isabelle Beckman.
