The Crookston Pirate Boys and Girls track and field teams competed in the Pine to Prairie indoor meet at Concordia College in Moorhead. The Crookston Girls finished seventh out of 12 teams with 26 points. Park Christian won the meet with 114 points, 13 points ahead of Barnesville. The Crookston Boys finished 10th out of the 12 teams with 16 points. Park Christian won the meet with 119 points, 17 points ahead of East Grand Forks.

BOYS–
The Pirate Boys had one first place finish as Makoti Weber continues an outstanding start to the season in the pole vault. He vaulted a personal inddor best 11 feet to win the pole vault and garner 10 team points in the process.
Aaron Gosse continued his solid start to the indoor season, finishing sixth in the 55 meters with a time of 7.03 for a new indoor personal best. He also finished sixth place in the 200 meters with a time of 24.88, which was over two-tenths of a second better than his time last week.
GIRLS –
The Pirate girls were led by Chloe Boll with a second-place finish in the pole vault with a new indoor personal best vault of 8-6. Chloe also turned in a personal indoor best in the 55 meters, clocking 8.02 seconds for fifth place. Chloe had another fifth-place finish in the long jump with a personal best 14 feet and 5.5 inches. She was also on the fourth-place 4×200 relay team along with Brooklyn Waldal and her sisters, Grace and Morgan Boll.
The 4×800 relay team of Keatyn Kliner, Jennika Reese, ZiiZi Sam, and Catelyn Maruska finished fifth to round out the top five finishes for the girls.
The Pirate track teams will head back to Concordia College on Tuesday, March 31, for another indoor meet.
