Crookston Pirate Track teams compete at Frozen Five Invitational at KROX Radio Stadium

The Crookston Pirate Boys and Girls track and field teams competed in the Frozen Five Invitational, their first home meet of the year at KROX Radio Stadium. Competing in this meet were Crookston, East Grand Forks, Roseau, Thief River Falls and West Marshall.
Crookston Boys finished fifth out of five teams with 18 points. TRF won the meet with 81 points.
Crookston Girls finished fifth out of five teams with 28 points. West Marshall won the meet with 96 points.

BOYS–
Crookston Boys finished fifth out of five teams with 18 points. The Pirates were led by Aaron Gosse, who finished first in both the 100 meters and the 200 meters, winning both by over half a second. Gavin Reitmeier also finished second in the 200 meters. The Pirates also had Masen Lessard finish fourth in the long jump, Lennon Prudhomme finish ninth in distance and Chris Goodrich finish tenth in the 800 meters.

GIRLS –
Crookston Girls finished fifth out of five teams with 28 points. Though they didn’t have any winners, the Pirates had a multitude of girls finish second, including Chloe Boll finishing runner-up in both the 100 meters and the pole vault, and Keeva Kliner finishing second in the high jump. The 4×100 and 4×800 relays finished third, Morgan Boll finished fourth in the pole vault, and Chloe Boll finished fourth in the long jump. On top of all of that, the 4×200 relay team finished fifth, as did Kambree Wangan in the long jump.
