On Thursday, May 14th, at 1:00 p.m., the Crookston Fire Department responded to a mutual aid request from Beltrami Fire for a grass fire in Scandia, Section 3. On scene, they aided in protecting a nearby residence before getting the fire extinguished and clearing the scene
On Thursday, May 14th, at 7:00 p.m., the Crookston Fire Department responded to a small grass fire in Hammond township, section 8. It was a small fire in a ditch, and was extinguished with the use of grass rakes
