The Crookston Police Department, in conjunction with the Grand Forks Police Department, arrested Cathy Lajesse, 53, in Grand Forks, ND, on Monday, August 17.
This arrest is related to a theft investigation filed with the Crookston Police Department in May of 2025. Cathy Lajesse has been charged in Polk County District Court with eight counts of Theft by Diverting Corporate Property and eight counts of Theft by Swindle.
This is an active investigation, and no other information will be released at this time. The Crookston Police Department was assisted by the Grand Forks Police Department and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
