Join Tri-Valley Opportunity Council Head Start centers for the 13th Annual Great Apple Crunch on Thursday, October 8.
The celebration is part of National Farm to School Month and encourages participants to gather together, purchase locally grown apples, and take a big, satisfying bite together. The goal of the Great Apple Crunch is to support local farmers, encourage healthy eating habits, increase fruit and vegetable consumption, grow young, healthy eaters, and strengthen our community.
Whether you crunch on October 8 at 12:00 p.m. or anytime during the month, you’ll be part of a statewide celebration of eating locally grown food and maintaining a healthy diet.
