ALEX LONGORIA NAMED AMERICAN LEGION ALL-STAR BY MINNESOTA LEGION PROSPECTS

The Crookston American Legion Baseball Program is pleased to announce that Alex Longoria (Jr. – Crookston High School) has been named an American Legion All-Star by Minnesota Legion Prospects.

Longoria is hitting .485 with 10 RBIs and 10 stolen bases this season.  

Presenting the 2022 Legion All-Stars. 60 players will be formed into four teams for the Prospect Series Tournament on August 6 in Bloomington. To become an All-Star, coaches from around the entire state nominated players from their team (and sometimes other teams) that they felt represented some of the top talent in Minnesota this year. Our selection committee sought to represent communities across the entire state as you will see below. Players were also selected according to their positions which can be its own challenge.
