The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) Women’s Basketball team for the most part had one bad quarter, the second which led to an 83-53 loss to Hawaii Pacific in the Malika Sports O’Ahu Thanksgiving Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii. Hawaii Pacific had five players in double figures led by Ally Bates with 18 and the Sharks improve to 4-0 on the season. UMC did not have anyone in double figures with 12 in the scoring column and Mattea Vetsch (Fresh-Devils Lake, N.D.) leading the way with a career high nine points and Mary Burke (Fresh-Virginia, Mn) added eight points with six rebounds.
