ARREST/FIRE REPORT – January 24, 2022

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

1/21/2022

At 10:00 a.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of State Hwy 9 and US Hwy 2 E for a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, the CFD assisted local agencies with traffic control, battery disconnection, and minor cleanup. The CFD then cleared the scene.

At 1:23 p.m., the CFD responded to the 300 block of 5th St E for a fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that grinding concrete during construction activities had caused the alarm to activate. The CFD reset the system, turned over control to staff, and cleared the scene.

1/22/2022

At 8:23 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1200 block of US Hwy 75 S for a fire alarm activation. Upon investigation, it was found that it was an accidental activation. The CFD reset the system, turned over control to staff, and cleared the scene.
