ARREST/FIRE REPORT-JANUARY 30

The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-

Miriah Larae Wadena, 25, no address listed, for failure to appear in court.

Andrew James Ross Mullican, 20, of Crookston, for domestic assault and committed act to cause fear or immediate bodily harm to another.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 1/29/2024 and 1/30/2024 –

1/29/2024

At 12:07 p.m., the CFD responded to the 300 block of 2nd Ave NE for a report of a smell of gas. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated and there was a strong smell of gas present. The homeowner was confident that the stove was accidentally left on, and the CFD shut off the gas and ventilated the residence. Once the area was deemed safe the CFD cleared the scene.

1/30/2024

At 2:01 a.m., the CFD responded to a residence in the City of Fisher for a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated, and no Carbon Monoxide was present. It was found to be an old detector. There was no danger present. The CFD then cleared the scene.
