The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following–

Joshua Nathaniel Boyer, 37, was arrested in East Grand Forks for 5^th Degree Assault.

Tahlon Chaz Sayer, 21, of Winger, for Domestic Assault

Jeremiah Daniel Willett, 37, of Trail, for Domestic Assault

Melissa Kay Holweger, 47, of Grand Forks, for DUI

Khauim Artes Coleman, 21, of Minneapolis, for Assault

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following call between 1/3 and 1/5 2025:

At 3:56 on Friday afternoon. CFD responded to the Polk County Transfer Station for a dumpster fire. Transfer station staff removed burning trash and had the fire put out when crews arrived. Crews removed extra trash from the dumpster to ensure safety before clearing the scene.
