The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests –
Chris Z, Perales, 37 of Grand Forks, for Failure to appear-chgd/convicted gross misdemeanor
Manuel Samuel Guerrero, 40 of Crookston, for Drugs-3rd Degree possession- Methamphetamine.
Nicole Grace Jackson, 27 of Ogema, for receiving stolen property.
Misty Mae Cramb, 36 of Crookston, for Drugs-3rd Degree possession- Methamphetamine.
Kevin Michael Joseph, 49 of Crookston, for trespassing and refusal to depart.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –
7/9/2021
At 11:00 a.m., the CFD responded to a call at Section 28 of Crookston township to help an individual off their roof. CFD assisted the individual and cleared the scene.
At 4:34 p.m., the CFD was called to the 1100 block of Barrette St for the building’s smoke alarm activation. Upon investigation, it was found it was a system malfunction, and there was no danger present in the building. CFD reset the system and cleared the scene.
At 6:03 p.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of Hwy 75 and County Road 21 for a two-vehicle accident. CFD assisted the Sheriff’s Department and Polk County with clean-up, and then cleared the scene.

At 5:10 p.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of North Broadway and 5th St for a two-vehicle accident. CFD assisted EMS and law enforcement with cleanup and cleared the scene.
