Arrest/Fire Report – Monday, May 20, 2019

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:

Elizabeth Anne Rowan, 31 of Crookston, for misdemeanor contempt of court by willful disobedience of a court mandate. Released on personal recognizance.

Brianna Marie Booker, 20 of Crookston, on a misdemeanor for making an emergency call for no emergency.

Troy Allen Horgeshimer, 36 of Warren, for a felony probation violation. 

Mulatu Sebside Lakew, 36 of St. Paul, for misdemeanor failure to appear. Released to another authority.

Fire calls:

The Crookston Fire Department escorted the Pirate Girls’ Track Team out of town Friday morning, on their way to Saturday’s State True Team competition.

At 5:48 Friday evening they were called to the Polk County Government Center on North Broadway for a person stuck in the elevator. The person was freed with no problem. It was turned over to maintenance to have the elevator removed.

At 12:11 a.m. Sunday, they responded to a grass fire in Olmstead Township. The fire was extinguished and remains under investigation in conjunction with the DNR.
