ARREST/FIRE REPORT – NOVEMBER 16, 2023

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 11/15/2023 –

At 7:49 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1500 block of University Ave for a report of a dumpster fire. Upon arrival, the fire was mostly extinguished. The CFD ensured the scene was safe and extinguished any hotspots. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD cleared the scene.

At 8:37 p.m., the CFD responded to the 300 block of Summit Ave for a report of a rotten egg smell in a residence. Upon arrival, the CFD used gas monitoring tools, and no gas was detected. The area was deemed safe, and the CFD informed the tenant to call if there were any other issues. The CFD then cleared the scene.
