The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Nicole Swenson, 35 of Climax, for Driving after suspension of License.
John Louis Vondal Sr., 64 of East Grand Forks, for Third-Degree Drug Possession of Narcotics.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 11/3/2021 –
At 7:30 a.m., the CFD responded to a call at the 700 block of Summit Ave for a report of a gas smell. Great Plains Natural Gas was on scene and shut off a boiler. The CFD assisted by ventilating the building. The CFD then turned over control to staff and cleared the scene.
At 6:49 p.m., the CFD responded to Section 29 of Kertsonville Township for a tire on a box scraper on fire. Upon arrival, the CFD extinguished the fire, and once the area was deemed safe, turned over control to the owner, and cleared the scene.
