The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 10/12/2023
At 12:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 700 block of E Roberts St for a report of smoke in a building. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated, and it was found to be smoke coming from a motor. There was no danger present. The CFD turned off the power to the motor, ventilated the building, and turned over control to the staff. The CFD then cleared the scene.
10/13/2023
At 2:20 a.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of S. Broadway for a report of a vehicle entering the river. Upon arrival, the CFD put their boat in the river to further assist the other responding local agencies. The investigation is ongoing.
