The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Elpidio Encinia Jr., 45, of Crookston, for domestic assault and attempt to inflict bodily harm on another.
Brandon Davis Heisler, 29, of Halstad, for domestic assault and attempt to inflict bodily harm on another.
Casey Allyn Heisler, 32, of Halstad, for domestic assault and the act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm to another.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following call on 10/17/2023 –
At 1:50 a.m., the CFD responded to the 300 block of S Minnesota St. for a report of a fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, the CFD investigated, and no danger was found. It was deemed to be a faulty detector. The CFD reset the alarm, turned control over to staff, and cleared the scene.
