ARREST/FIRE REPORT- SEPTEMBER 15, 2022

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.

Jeffery Michael Lee, 54, no address provided, for 3rd-Degree DUI

Alan Orv Weaver, 52, of Rochester, for Disorderly Conduct

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 9/14/2022 –

At 4:01 p.m., the CFD responded to 170th Ave SW for a tree that had fallen on a power line and had started a small fire. Upon arrival, the CFD extinguished the fire and contacted the electric company to disconnect the power. Once the power was disconnected, there was no danger present, and the CFD cleared the scene.

At 4:37 p.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of S Main St. for a report of a general fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that the property owner was spray painting too close to the alarm, which caused its activation. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and cleared the scene. 

At 5:25 p.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of S Main St. for a detector activation in an apartment. Upon arrival, it was found to be the alarm’s end-of-life alert, and there was no danger present. The CFD was able to get ahold of the property owner to replace the alarm. The CFD then cleared the scene.
