The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Nicholas Carl Johnson, 28, of Fosston, for 3rd-Degree DUI
Sarah May Burthwick, 33, of Red Lake Falls, for DUI
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 9/19/2022 –
At 8:30 a.m., the CFD responded to the 700 block of 3rd Ave SW for a report of a brake drum on a truck smoking. Upon arrival, the CFD assisted by cooling down the brake drum and monitored the situation until the DOT arrived. The CFD then cleared the scene.
At 10:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of 4th Ave N for a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD used gas monitoring tools and found no Carbon Monoxide present. The CFD then replaced a few detectors and then cleared the scene.
